There are three types of memberships:

Full members – organizations responsible for one or more EMREX data Access Points (EMP). Full members constitute the backbone of EUG and they have voting rights:
- Full members get 1 vote
- Full members get an additional vote for providing data for secondary level education
EMREX client members – organizations responsible for one or more EMREX clients (EMC). This membership gives members the possibility to participate in the activities, but does not include voting rights.
Associated members – parties interested in EMREX, or considering building an EMP or EMC. Associated members can participate in the activities, but do not have voting rights.
