Wrapping up and releasing EMREX to the World

EMREX stopped logging student activity in the tool September 30st. Now the network is more than ready to roll-on, and new partners are getting ready to join. EMREX is the solution for electronic transfer of achievement records between higher education institutions in Europe – and beyond!

Institutions successfully connected to EMREX so far is the following (by country)

Norway: all institutions

Finland: all institutions

Denmark: Technical University of Denmark, University of Copenhagen

Italy: University of Verona

Poland: University of Warsaw, Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, University of Opole, University of Bialystok

Sweden: all institutions

EMREX User Group to continue the Network

The three-year EMREX-project is coming to an end this year. However, the EMREX network will continue and all partners are committed to continuing in production and new partners like the Netherlands are joining. It has now been agreed that after the project the network will be organized around an EMREX User Group, which will among other things decide on adding new partners to the network, agree on new functionality and overall actively support and market the EMREX network. This is an important milestone as not all EU projects manage the transition from project-funding to service-as-usual. This, of course, does not exclude the possibility to apply for EU funding for specific tasks in the future. The partners did apply for an EMREX+ project, which wasn’t successful and there are some ideas for further funding and other cooperation that will be clarified during the autumn and early next year. In between, the EMREX User Group will be the glue that links current and future EMREX partners together and will guarantee the success of the network.

Evaluation

During trial period the students were also invited to fill in a digital survey regarding students’ opinion on recognition process. You can find more information about the aims of the evaluation and the complete questionnaire at the project website emrex.eu, Evaluation. All data from logs together with information from the survey will be summarized, analyzed and presented during fall.
